Messaging OS Gap Finder

Paste your homepage, pitch or LinkedIn About copy. You get a pass or flag on each of five pillars, with the offending phrase quoted back.

Takes about a minute · your copy never leaves this page

Paste the copy you want checked. Each pillar comes back Pass or Flag, with the phrase that triggered it quoted back to you and a link to the section of the Messaging OS guide that explains what the pillar asks for.

What this does not do. It checks whether the five things are stated, not whether your claims are true or differentiated. A flag means something is missing from the page; a pass means it is present, not that it is good.

Question 1 of 1

Paste your homepage, pitch or LinkedIn About copy

It is checked in your browser and never sent anywhere. There is no AI call behind this and no request leaves the page.

What to fix, and where it is explained

    Common questions

Why isn't my homepage copy converting?

Most often because one of five things is not actually stated on the page. A named buyer, specific enough that a reader can tell whether they are the one you mean, rather than a category like "growing businesses". A specific problem they would recognise in their own week, rather than a generic pain. A stated mechanism: how your approach works, not just that it does. Real proof: a number, a named customer, or a specific outcome. And exactly one next step, because three competing asks dilute all three. Copy that states all five converts better than copy that states three, almost regardless of how well written it is.

    What exactly is this checking?

Whether the five things are stated, not whether your claims are true or differentiated. This is a pattern check, and it cannot tell you that your mechanism is better than a competitor's or that your proof point is impressive. It can tell you that no mechanism is named at all, or that no number appears anywhere, which is the more common failure and the one you can fix this afternoon.

Does my copy get sent anywhere?

No. The checks run in your browser, there is no AI call behind this, and no request carries your text off the page. You can paste unreleased positioning into it. Reloading clears it because nothing was stored.

Why heuristics rather than a model?

Because the five failure patterns are specific and well defined, and a trained model would be slower to build, harder to explain and not meaningfully more accurate on them. The trade-off is real: a named customer with no number in the sentence reads as absent proof here. If the checks start missing real gaps, the right fix is extending the pattern list rather than reaching for something heavier.

Want the rewrite rather than the diagnosis?

Bring the flagged pillars. Rewriting against them is usually a single session.
