Answer six questions for each location you run. Leave the extra location fields blank if you only have one. Scores are reported per location, then averaged, and any location lagging the others gets named.
This version takes up to three locations. If you run more than three, score your three weakest first: the pattern across them is almost always the same one repeating, and the per-category breakdown tells you which fix to apply everywhere. A version that takes an unlimited number of locations is a known gap rather than an oversight.
Common questions
How do I check whether my Google Business Profile is fully optimized?
Check six things per location, and check them per location rather than as a chain. Basic info: name, address and phone identical across Google, Yelp and your own site. Categories: primary and secondary both set and specific. Photos: something added in the last 90 days. Posts: something posted in the last 30 days, since historic posts do not count and recency is the bar. Reviews: responded to very nearly all of them, because near-100 percent response is what signals an actively managed profile. Products and services: listed out rather than left blank. Six of six is well optimized; three or four is partially optimized; two or fewer means the foundation is not there yet.
Why score each location separately instead of giving one number?
Because a blended average hides the location that has been neglected, which is usually the single most useful thing in the report. A chain averaging four of six might be four well-run profiles and two abandoned ones, and those need completely different attention. The scorecard reports each location, then the average, then names any location a full point or more below that average.
Does this check my profile automatically?
No, and that is deliberate. This is a self-report checklist: you answer six questions per location from what you can see in your own profile. An automated version that reads live profile data is the intended upgrade and would be more precise, but this version is genuinely useful the day it ships and adds no third-party dependency. The six categories and the scoring are identical either way, so the automated version would replace the input step without changing the output.
What is the fastest thing to fix?
Photos and posts, almost always. They are the two most commonly neglected items and also two of the cheapest to fix, and both are scored on recency rather than on whether you ever did them. Review responses are usually the next, because the gap between responding to some reviews and responding to nearly all of them is visible to anyone reading the profile.
