GTM Readiness Scorecard

Twelve yes-or-no questions. No email required. See which layers of your go-to-market are actually built before you spend on more activity.

Takes about 3 minutes · results aren't saved or sent anywhere

Twelve yes-or-no questions across the four layers of a working go-to-market: who you target, how you track deals, what your message says, and whether anything goes out on a schedule. Answer honestly rather than aspirationally, since the useful output is the list of gaps rather than the score.

Question 1 of 12

Could you name 20 real companies that match your ICP today, without researching first?

Question 2 of 12

Is there a trigger event (not a demographic) behind who you target?

Question 3 of 12

Is there one single system of record tracking every active deal?

Question 4 of 12

Has every open deal been updated with a next step in the last 7 days?

Question 5 of 12

Is your outbound list filtered on a specific, recent signal, not a broad category?

Question 6 of 12

Does your cold message lead with a specific offer rather than a meeting ask?

Question 7 of 12

Do you run a defined multi-touch cadence, not a single email and a hope?

Question 8 of 12

Do you know your current cold reply rate as an actual number?

Question 9 of 12

Does outbound go out on a consistent weekly schedule, not in bursts?

Question 10 of 12

Do you have at least one real proof point you reference in outreach?

Question 11 of 12

Is there a documented next step for what happens after someone replies positively?

Question 12 of 12

Could anyone other than the founder run part of this process today?

    Common questions

How do I tell whether my go-to-market is ready to scale?

Score the four layers separately rather than judging the whole thing at once: targeting, pipeline tracking, message, and cadence. A go-to-market is ready to scale when all four exist as written-down systems rather than habits, which in practice means you could name 20 ICP-matching companies without researching, every open deal carries a next step from the last week, your first cold touch leads with an offer rather than a meeting ask, and outbound goes out on a schedule someone other than the founder could run. This scorecard asks twelve yes-or-no questions across those four layers and returns one of three tiers.

What do the three tiers mean?

Zero to four is No System: pipeline runs entirely in the founder's head. That is normal before any systems work, not a judgment, but every lever is unbuilt. Five to eight is Early: some structure exists but it is inconsistent, usually one or two of the four layers are solid and the rest are missing. Nine to twelve is Systemized: a real operating system exists and the gap left is optimization rather than foundation.

Why is every question weighted the same?

Each question maps to a real, binary gap, and weighting them differently would imply a precision this scorecard is not built to have. One point per yes, twelve points possible. The useful output is not the number, it is which specific questions you answered no to.

Do you store or send my answers anywhere?

No. The scorecard runs entirely in your browser: there is no account, no email gate, and no request that carries your answers off the page. Reloading the page clears everything, because nothing was ever written down. If you book a call from the results, the tier and the list of gaps travel in the link so the conversation can start from them, and you can see exactly what that link contains before you click it.
